So, what do we do then?

So it was a couple of years ago that two guys met, became really close friends and found that they had a mutual interest. Tattoos. Gerard Gil has been an artist now for 10 years and Tony Bower had ran and managed another tattoo shop in his day. Although Tony never knew how to Tattoo himself, he loved the craft and the art that it produced. Gerard had served his Country for almost a decade and then one day found himself using his G.I. Bill and going to school. It was at Heald Business College Hawaii that these two met and soon became great friends. One day as they were talking they sparked on an idea..."Why not one day we open a shop up?"

And after a couple of years...they did.

Gerard is Co-Owner and artist while Tony is Co-Owner and the accountant.

The Crew then received it's next members in Gavin Gonsalves and Mat Grance.

Gavin has a good eye at putting together great pieces. He's an all around kid that just loves to create art. He might look young, but the kids got talent!

Mat Grance is an artist that's very skilled with using color and producing Asian pieces. He's also the crew's piercing artist. The all around joker of the Independent Ink crew, Mat is truly a gifted and knowledgeable artist.

We are the new kids on the block, but the art is not. We act like family and we treat all that come through our doors as such.

We believe in our motto "Let your Art set you Apart. Be Independent!"
